It is by wisdom that a house is built, and by intelligence it is made solid. (Proverbs 24: 3)
Jehovah has made the earth by his power, he has solidly founded the world by his wisdom, and he has spread the heavens by his understanding. (Jeremiah 10: 12)
I followed the 2016 Conference of Women of Churches Vases of Honor organized by Pastor Liliane Sanogo. This conference built me and challenged me. I created a playlist on Youtube for all the women who would like to listen to it and the Lord made me very eager to share my notes and reflections with you as I am listening and meditating these teachings.
Here is the beginning of wisdom: acquire wisdom, obtain discernment at the price of all that you possess. (Proverbs 4: 7)
"Acquire wisdom!" tells us proverbs 4: 7. That is to say : "fight to be wise no matter the cost! " God calls us all to acquire wisdom. God calls us to be wise!
Why ? Because everything that lasts is built by wisdom. Wisdom allows us to build our lives on a solid foundation. If you do not have the wisdom you will overthrow your house even if you love your husband. If you have no wisdom, you will destroy the life of your children even if you love them! Many marriages are destroyed because of ignorance and lack of wisdom. Wisdom allows us to succeed in everything we do.
Why acquire wisdom?
If God asks us to acquire wisdom, it is becausewe are not born wise. Nobody is born wise. We become wise. Wisdom does not depend on the number of years of conversion. It does not depend on age. It does not depend on the skin color. It has nothing to do with the intellectual knowledge or the social position one may have. Wisdom is acquired.
Beloved, wisdom will save you time and you will avoid going round in circles in life. We need wisdom. We must seek wisdom!
It is often said that the wise woman builds her house and the fool destroys it with her own hands (Proverbs 14: 1). And I often have the impression that there is an imbalance in some of the messages that speak about it. It is as if the success of a marriage depends solely on the woman. And very often, when the marriage does not work, the woman is accused.
But I believe with all my heart that marriage is built in two and that both men and women must acquire wisdom because it is by wisdom that a house rises, is built, is built. God calls women to be wise in Proverbs 14: 1. And God also calls men to be wise when He says: My son, be attentive to my wisdom, listen to my understanding, so that you may keep the reflection, and let your lips keep the knowledge. (Proverbs 6: 1-2)
So in the next few days we will talk about wisdom. I will share my notes and reflections on the excellent messages that were preached by Pastor Modestine Castanou and Reverend Adelaïde Heward-Mills during the conference.

Happy the man who found wisdom! Happy the one who has become reasonable! Acquiring wisdom is better than making a lot of money. The benefits it gives are more valuable than the finest gold. It is priceless more than pearls, and no treasure you might want matches its value.Wisdom offers you, in his right hand, a long life, and in his left hand, wealth and consideration. The paths in which she leads are pleasant, all her paths converge on happiness. Wisdom is a tree of life for those who cling to it, and those who know how to keep it are happy. (Proverbs 3: 13-18)
Stay all blessed and have a good start to the week!
